Through thick and thin – or only as long as it benefits you? Friend or foe?
With their fourth single "Ally Or Alibi", MELONBALL poses exactly this question.
The new track from the upcoming album "Take Care" is a ruthless reckoning with fake friends and self-proclaimed partners-in-crime. People who pretend to be on the same page, fighting the same battles and sharing the same values – until it gets serious. When it matters, the facades crumble. What remains is the realization that loyalty only lasts as long as it is advantageous.
Musically, MELONBALL delivers their signature technical, high-energy sound with "Ally Or Alibi": multi-part vocal harmonies, catchy guitar riffs, and powerful drums – just as direct and uncompromising as the song's message. The track is rounded off by a distinctive guitar solo from Joshua Gropp from Canada.
