On November 18, 2025, the Orlando-based sonic storytellers Magnolia Park returned with a brand new single titled "CHASING SHADOWS," their first new music since they opened the door to their VAMP universe earlier this year. The band's hardest and most ambitious album to date is inspired by the love of its members for anime, horror, and fantasy, providing the soundtrack to a sinister journey through a dystopian world where rulers and rebels fight for the future.
With a drum machine and catchy hooks that contrast with the sludgy guitars and furious melodies, the new track deals with emotional turmoil at the end of the VAMP narrative, where the story's protagonist (Aurora XI) suffers an extreme loss at the hands of her enemy.
"'Chasing Shadows' is about feeling unworthy of love and the agony of losing someone close to you," the band explains. "We wanted to write a song about how Aurora feels after losing her sister Ophelia in the fight against the shadow cult." Check out the early 2000s-inspired music video below:

The band also confirms the first festivals for 2026:
Rock am Ring, Nürburgring on June 5, 2026
Rock im Park, Nuremberg on June 7, 2026
Nova Rock Festival, Nickelsdorf on June 12, 2026
Vainstream Rockfest, June 26 - 27, 2026
Jera On Air, Ysselstyn, June 25 - 27, 2026
With their tireless work ethic on social media and their productive musical output, they have taken the scene by storm. Their popular Halloween mixtapes, the multi-part Eater EP series, and their debut album Baku's Revenge have made them not only a favorite on the playlists and For You page of millions of listeners around the world but also a must-see live band. They have toured with A Day To Remember, From Ashes To New, and the first Summer School tour (where they headlined). They have also graced the stages of major festivals like Reading and Leeds, When We Were Young, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville, and Riot Fest, as well as at the revived Warped Tour stops in D.C., Long Beach, and Orlando. Back overseas, the band has planned performances in Europe for 2026 at Download Fest, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, and other festivals, as well as a series of dates with BABYMETAL in Australia.
