The band has also launched a pre-order for a double A-side 7" vinyl featuring both songs. There will be a standard version as well as a signed variant, limited to 500 copies. Both are exclusively available in the band’s webstore along with a brand new merchandise collection.
Mudvayne looks to the future while celebrating their impressive past. The song is released on the eve of the band’s L.D. 50 25th Anniversary Headline Tour, which kicks off today, September 11, and runs until October 26.
L.D. 50 was the band’s debut studio album, released in August 2000 by Epic Records, establishing the band as a new but significant player in the hard rock scene. It eventually achieved gold status. Years after its release, both Revolver and Metal Hammer deemed the album rightly regarded as a milestone of 2000s metal. The tour is supported by Static-X, with Vended opening.
Just before the turn of the century, Mudvayne rose from the twisted heart of the country, redefining how heavy metal can sound, look, and feel.
The Peoria, Illinois-based, multi-platinum and GRAMMY® Award-nominated quartet pushed metal psychotically to its limits on both ends, stretching their enigmatic sound from moments of breathtaking musicality to bloodthirsty melodies.
