The Bloodsucking Zombies from Outer Space (BZfOS), Vienna's long-standing and most consistent shock rock institution, is back with a new double single: Stylistically more versatile and thematically sharper than ever, the band delivers two songs, "Monster" and "Horrorfans Against Racism", that could not be more contrasting at first glance, yet complement each other perfectly in content and artistry. The single "Monster" is being released today for the first time on all digital streaming platforms.

The now-released track "Monster" showcases the band from an unusually dark and melancholic side: Between post-punk, emo influences, and indie rock, an atmospheric song unfolds that stylistically recalls Joy Division, Alkaline Trio, and early My Chemical Romance. With the support of Frankenstein's monster, the BZfOS create an atmospheric soundtrack for all those who have never quite found themselves in societal norms. A deeply personal piece about exclusion, the feeling of being different, and the power to find one's own identity within that.
As the second A-side, the already well-known, successful collaboration with punk legends WIZO appears: "Horrorfans Against Racism". The track, which has already been released on streaming platforms, is not only a political statement against hate and exclusion but also an energetic punk explosion that finally finds its physical home: On vinyl, including a meaningful patch.
