Braunkohlebagger – Vinyl crowdfunding for new album Angstapparat launched on Startnext!
The Essen-based band Braunkohlebagger will release their new album Angstapparat digitally on September 12, 2025, through self-distribution. Since 2018, the group has been creating their own distinct Prog-Punk – completely DIY, from recording to release.
Initially, it was supposed to remain a purely digital release. The response to the new work (the first release after Corona) seemed too uncertain. However, the reviews are positive, and inquiries about physical media are increasing. To ensure that the album is also released on vinyl, the band has now launched a crowdfunding campaign on Startnext.
Vinyl packages can be pre-ordered until the end of September. If the funding goal is reached, Angstapparat will go to the pressing plant. If it does not succeed, it will remain a digital release – and all supporters will automatically receive their money back. No risk, no excess, no waste.
