THE ACACIA STRAIN
— Vincent Bennett, vocals;
Devin Shidaker, lead guitar;
Griffin Landa, bass;
Mike Mulholland, guitar;
and
Matt Guglielmo, drums
— recently announced their new album "You Are Safe From God Here." It will be released on October 24 via Rise Records.
"This album is unapologetically The Acacia Strain; understand that however you want," the band stated upon the announcement. "It’s angry, it’s sad, it’s us. We made an album that makes us uncomfortable. We hope it does the same for you."
Discomfort is not a bad thing. Discomfort challenges you to grow beyond yourself and can change you.
The Acacia Strain today released the video for their new single "HOLY MOONLIGHT."

"Another new song already?! So soon?! It sounds like we’re about to release a new album or something! (youaresafefromgodhereoctobertwentyfourth)," the band comments.
From the new release by The Acacia Strain, an uncompromising sonic assault is to be expected, further solidifying their dominance as titans of extreme music. This latest work delves deeper into the devastating realms of sludge, doom, and death metal, while maintaining the raw, unbridled aggression of their hardcore punk roots. Lyrically, frontman Vincent Bennett once again navigates the bleak landscapes of misanthropy, nihilism, and existential dread, delivering his venomous statements with unwavering intensity. Fans can look forward to an unrelenting flood of bone-crushing breakdowns, cavernous riffs, and a palpable sense of impending doom that has become synonymous with the destructive sound of The Acacia Strain.
Following their innovative double release of "Step Into The Light" and "Failure Will Follow" in 2023, which showcased both their traditional shorter, pulverizing tracks and their sprawling, sludgier compositions, this new album promises to push the boundaries of their established wildness while maintaining the unparalleled heaviness that their loyal fanbase craves. Get ready for a listening experience that is as hard-hitting as it is profound, showcasing the lasting legacy of The Acacia Strain in the realm of extreme metal.
