The song features a guest appearance by Dan Marsala from Story of the Year.
"This song is about the drastic changes we go through in relationships and that you can never be everything someone needs," explains Bokan. "The 'Perfect' we always seek does not exist, so you have to believe in yourself and trust it. The song has such a nostalgic retro sound that Dan from Story of the Year was the icing on the cake."
"The guys from Blessthefall are among the best in the world," says Marsala. "We have played shows together all over the world and experienced so many epic parties over the years. It is an honor for me to call them friends and finally be able to work on a song together. They are amazing, and this new song is too! Give it a listen!"
Bokan shares this additional insight about the album: "Gallows is the culmination of everything we love about writing music. We took our time and only wrote when we felt inspired. Every song on this album came from excitement and freedom, and you can hear that in every track. From the emotional screams to some of the most disgusting parts we've ever written, to the massive sing-along choruses, there's something for everyone. Whether you've been a die-hard BTF fan since day one or are listening for the first time, Gallows will land in your top 3 metalcore albums of 2025." That's a bold claim, but it's true!
The album also features guest appearances from Alpha Wolf and Caskets.
