The Rauhnächte are a time "between the years," traditionally starting around the winter solstice and ending on Epiphany. The term likely originates from the Middle High German rûch = "hairy" and refers to the furry figures of winter demons. The Rauhnächte are considered a magical phase of cleansing, reflection, and foresight in many folk beliefs and spiritual traditions. Many people use this time for rituals of self-reflection to let go of the old year and manifest wishes for the new one.
IN EXTREMO is also embarking on a special concert tour to conclude their anniversary year – in which they celebrated their 30th anniversary as a band – to properly bid farewell to an exciting year and to 2025: With a specially curated setlist full of highlights and anthems, surrounded by loved ones, for a spectacular end to the year.
"We want to present something truly special to our loyal fans at the end of this era and simply say thank you with these concerts – just as you know us: loud, hard, but heartfelt and with a good dose of mischief," the band looks forward to a thunderous Finale Furioso 2025.
