Paul Raven succumbs to heart attack

On Saturday, October 20, 46-year-old bassist Paul Raven succumbed to a heart attack. Raven, who played bass for Ministry, Killing Joke, and Society 1, had been working on an album in Geneva with the French band Treponem Pal for a week. Their drummer found Raven lifeless in an armchair in the morning. All resuscitation attempts by the emergency doctor who was urgently called were unsuccessful, and the bassist's death could only be confirmed. His family is now having the body flown to the United Kingdom, where Raven is to be buried.
