The legendary Finnish punk rock label Combat Rock Industry is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025, and two of its most important bands, Endstand and Manifesto Jukebox, will be reforming and playing concerts in Finland. Manifesto Jukebox will also embark on a small tour in Germany in May with the third CRI stalwart Wasted, who have been touring and releasing new records over the years. Manifesto Jukebox will also support Turbostaat on May 14 at SO36 in Berlin.
As the very first Combat Rock Industry release, Wasted's classic debut album Suppress & Restrain will be reissued as a remastered vinyl edition before the tour. While Wasted's current material leans towards darker post-punk tones, this album is an unabashed, raw, yet catchy street punk rock. The band's set at these concerts will also focus on their earlier material.
Manifesto Jukebox shook up the global punk rock scene with their debut album Desire in the fall of 2000. Their guitar-driven, melodic, yet rough punk rock in the style of bands like Husker Du and Leatherface seemed to be something people had been waiting for.
Before this tour in May 2025, Manifesto Jukebox and photographer Kristofer Pasanen will release American Roadkill, a beautiful photo book+CD package that documents the release tour of their second album Remedy (BYO Records, 2002). It includes a lot of iconic tour photos by Pasanen and an exciting live CD recorded during the tour in the USA.
