After releasing a series of debut EPs and singles in 2023, Dirty Talons entered the legendary Middle Farm Studio in South Devon, UK, to record their hard-hitting follow-up album "Deep Dive" with producer Peter Miles (Architects, Crazy Arm, Petrol Girls, and many more).
The twelve tracks on "Deep Dive" showcase the band's evolution and sound, both in terms of songwriting and musical abilities. Describing the overall sound of Dirty Talons may be challenging, but the six-member band considers it a very good problem, as "Deep Dive" contains echoes of old-school acts like Boston, Judas Priest, or Pat Benatar, as well as modern elements reminiscent of bands like Kvelertak, Sheer Mag, or White Reaper.
On February 14, 2025, a new single from the album titled "Can You Feel?" was released:
"In one minute, I have a euphoric feeling of ecstasy, and in the next, complete disappointment and disillusionment. 'Can you feel?' is about becoming aware of this rapid shift of extreme emotions and trying to avoid it, as I have often experienced in platonic and romantic relationships. I have often put people on a pedestal, from which they then fell when something didn't match the idea I had of them, which then made me question the relationship." - Jess Howells, vocalist of Dirty Talons
