Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, Mimi Barks released the official music video for her single WORMGIRL on November 8, 2024. The video, shot by Astral Media in LA, features Mimi Barks and guest vocalist Raven Gray, who provide an ethereal contrast to Mimi's self-proclaimed DOOM TRAP world.

With the frenetic energy of the video, which perfectly aligns with the lyrics of the track, Mimi Barks shares the following statement:
“I thrive off the weight of it all, the discomfort. A martyr, killed, for my love for you. Solitude. Alone with myself on a different plane. Not above nor below. I've grown into something inhuman. I am my own lover, the creator, the destroyer, I am the one who plays the player, I am my own god.”
Raven Gray adds:
"While you were waiting outside the burrows of her soil, she laid dormant underneath…fragile and incomplete. From the gallows she has risen. It’s time you finally meet - wormgirl."
"It’s a sonic journey through my pain body and a guide on how I can deal with it," says Mimi Barks about her debut album "THIS IS DOOM TRAP", which is now available on all platforms via Silent Cult.
The album itself was produced by Mimi Barks along with MorgothBeatz, Brian Spencer, Kenny Graves, and KOEN, and features standout tracks like "MONTANA" featuring Ho99o9, "FSU", "BANSHEE", and "WORMGIRL" featuring Raven Gray.
Mimi Barks, who just completed her biggest headline tour in the UK and has played festivals such as Download Festival, Bloodstock Festival, Graspop, and 2000 Trees Festival in recent years, quickly surpassed one million streams and enjoys worldwide support from both press and radio makers alike.
She is an artist of the NOW and bares her digital teeth on various platforms with a vibrancy that can only come from these turbulent times. The musical evolution/revolution that led to her album "THIS IS DOOM TRAP" is a true upheaval of herself.
