"Das Gesicht" is Safi's face.
It reflects the multifaceted self in the mirror of the social environment, lyrically analyzes her self-image, self-critical, astonished, rasping, rough. A stocktaking. In doing so, Safi penetrates through the outer shell to her complexity.
Here she weaves guitars and sounds over dissonances and finds herself in an energetically powerful-spherical intuition of the expanses beyond the learned horizon. Breathing out thought patterns and constraints while the rigid outer shell wears down what lies beneath.
Do you feel that too?
"Das Gesicht" was recorded live and produced by Moses Schneider. The video was directed by Hannes Greve.
SAFI is Postpunk, Nowave, Avantgarde.
"Das Gesicht" rubs.
