On February 22, 2024, "Legwork" was released, the third single from the new Like A Motorcycle album "Pretty Pleased", which will be released on April 26, 2024, via Laughing Heart Music / Rookie Records.

Legwork navigates the cramped conditions of a small town, where the constant danger of encountering the person who broke you lurks around every corner. The inversely cheerful song deals with the shattered nervous system after a same-sex breakup, following years of raising a child together. It casts a harsh light on the unique and tormenting trauma of years spent secretly becoming parents, only to be discreetly led out the back door again.
It is a tale of budding agoraphobia, fueled by the acute awareness that a chance encounter with the ex (with the little friend in tow) would force one into a painful theatrical performance; burying the agony and simply pretending to be just a friend who is no longer invited.
The album "Pretty Pleased" will be released in two versions on LP (black or purple).
Like A Motorcycle are:
KT Lamond - guitar & vocals
Dave Casey - guitar & vocals
Kim Carson - bass & vocals
Clare Macdonald - drums & vocals
