It's too bad and does not do justice to the band MARCH.
The Belgian-Dutch band, consisting of two men and two women, has not only found a new home with the label Concrete Junge Records but is also releasing a remarkable album after three years.
On "Get In," there are twelve songs that go forward with a solid punch and engaged noise.
The sound reminds me of The Baboon Show, but also of The Hives.
With the sound the band has recorded here, they fit more into the Scandinavian box than into Belgium and the Netherlands. However, this also means that the quartet has not yet received the attention it deserves.
The band does a lot right. Powerful, voluminous vocals that can be very calm and captivating one moment and explode the next. Soft singing, loud, screaming, all of this can be done by singer (and guitarist) Fleur. It's almost surprising that all of this comes from one person. I would love to have that voice.
Guitar, bass, and drums also do nothing wrong. The drums provide a strong and incredibly precise beat, the bass gives a solid foundation, and the second guitar rounds out the sound nicely.
A shout-out must also go to the studio. What has been recorded here is impressive!
This ass kickin Rocksound is motherfucking cool.
The album comes in a beautiful digipack with a booklet containing all the lyrics. Those who prefer vinyl can order the album in limited, colored 180-gram vinyl.
The band also seems to have a special fondness for small model cars that have been lovingly built in Mad Max style.
Everything here is just about perfect!
