It has actually been six years since the first record by THE DEVIL 'N' US, with the beautiful name "Devils Music," was released. It’s hard to believe, but that’s how it is written.

has not been idle in the last six years and has recorded a new album, which logically refers to the title of the first album and is called "Still Devils Music."
The band has grown together over the years, which is evident in the album. It is more rounded, more cohesive, and shows even more clearly what the band, what Devils Music is all about.
The music is a mixture of influences from Punk'n'Roll, Rock'n'Roll, Country, 60s Beat, and a dark sound between Pop, Punk, and Neo-Rockabilly. The distinctive voice of singer Hellvis gives the twelve songs a dark touch that never sounds forced or artificial, but rather harmonizes with the music. Song titles like "Graveyard of my dreams," "Dragged down to hell," or "Man in the shadow" emphasize this. Despite this, the album is not a depressing work, but rather an album that also illuminates the darker sides of life and dreams. These dark dreams and fantasies are nothing new in Punk'n'Roll, Rockabilly, and Psychobilly; they are part of the good tone. Hellvis and his men just emphasize this aspect a bit more.
Musically, the band is beyond any doubt, as four experienced musicians play together who know how the sound should be and how it should sound. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered in the studio of the venerable club "Wild at Heart" in Berlin-Kreuzberg, by none other than the mastermind of the band CHURCH OF CONFIDENCE, Uli Confidence. A good choice, as Uli knows how the sound should be, after all, the four musicians and Uli are long-time friends and companions, and on the other hand, "Wild at Heart" is the home of this kind of music.
The album, featuring eight original songs and four cover songs, is a successful endeavor that can be recommended without hesitation to anyone who can appreciate Billy music and related genres. Live, the band is always a solid act and definitely worth seeing. Thus, the conclusion can only be:
