"Actually", BITERS are doing everything right. Cool rock'n'roll blasts from the speakers, with a good dose of glam rock in tow. And yet, something is missing for me in the 10 songs from the Americans. "Electric Blood" definitely has something; the record could play at the top of the league, but somehow it just doesn't resonate with me. And I don't know what bothers me about "Electric Blood", it's nagging at me. Is the singing too soft? The sound too smooth? The guitar too slick? I don't know, but I definitely feel like there's more missing than just the dot on the "i" that could make the album by the 4 guys from Atlanta a milestone. All the elements are there, yet it somehow isn't. Give it a listen and tell me what’s missing in the 35 minutes of playtime. Not to mention that I have no further information about the album and the band. NONE! And that's of course a shame :-( and as always, that results in a point deduction.
