RamTatTa - OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE – seculo seculorum

Manchester, UK => Football, banks, and of course music, bands, and clubs. JOY DIVISION, THE SMITHS, BUZZCOCKS, and now OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE joins the ranks as one of the greatest bands from Manchester or "Madchester". While the aforementioned bands quickly gained worldwide fame in the 70s and 80s, OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE has been touring England for over 10 years and unfortunately remains undiscovered. Through their strong Do It Yourself commitment, they have released 2 EPs on their own label and now also their second album "Seculo Seculorum", which should really help them break through, as the album features 11 super cool 3-5 minute songs! The distinctive voice of Kelii stands out, truly rocking! In some songs, her vocals are also doubled, making it sound even fatter. The 3 guys from OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE are really hitting their instruments hard (the usual lineup), resulting in a musical crossover somewhere between rock and metal. But always beautifully individual and alternative. The self-designed booklet is also a visual delight. The quartet is truly industrious, with several well-made videos online, a US tour organized by themselves, and now OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE can finally be seen live in Germany. Unfortunately, not near me :-(
The fact is, this record is awesome, awesome, awesome! A must-buy!!! Give the D.I.Y. band a chance, check out the videos, get excited, and buy "Seculo Seculorum"!!!
