I haven't heard anything from OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE from Manchester so far, but "Seculo Seculorum" is already the second album from the English band, following their debut album in 2010. Once again, it's a band with female vocals from the house of Mario Schoelcke, who promotes many bands from the international scene. It can be said upfront that the band showcases a very unique style, and with their distinctive sound mixture of punk rock, crossover, and nu-metal, they certainly know how to impress. The singer's voice is also quite catchy. There isn't a bad song on the album, but one shouldn't be too fixated on categorizing the band. The whole thing sounds different and thus also interesting. I can't really think of a true comparison with other bands at the moment. It's definitely recommended for music listeners who want something special and enjoy female vocals.
