Here comes the third solo production of Casper van Beugen, the bassist from the Netherlands, who already made a name for himself in his home country with his band "Crimble Cromble". His musical taste seems to lean towards Pink Floyd and the Beatles, especially since the music and lyrics come from his own pen. Even though a comparison can be made, he has still left enough room to incorporate his own style. Notable are the jazz-inflected drums, which reflect some of the nuances in the psychedelic and rocky sound that van Beugen likes to play with, ensuring that no song follows a "cookie-cutter" formula. Casper van Beugen makes it clear that music is more than just a bit of doodling with 0815 vocals à la Dieter Bohlen and Co., but rather art! And he has skillfully implemented this art. Each of the 11 songs speaks for itself, they touch the soul, and the variety keeps boredom at bay. I often find myself bobbing along to the rhythm. With this CD, Mr. van Beugen once again proves his musical talent, as this record is a delight!
