Oh my holy Bim-Bam-Blechle, what is coming my way? From 0 to 100 in 2.1 seconds and with this powerful female voice, MARY´S KIDS from Sweden wins every qualifying round. 14 power punk'n'roll songs in 27 minutes. Only two songs barely scratch the 3-minute mark, but why more? The songs fit like a glove, dynamic, driving, and provocative. Or to put it another way: BLACK FLAG meets HELLACOPTERS and Hanin Elias screams along!
Unfortunately, that's all I can say about this awesome record. The press info is more than meager (is the record only available as an LP?), no booklet, no lyrics, not even the cover do I have.
That already gives a deduction of 2 (!) points, this can't be how it works!
Still, there are a good 7 points left!
