Stonebride from Croatia. This is sweet smoke clouds, dirty blues rock, a fat stoner sound, and during the production, things were likely consumed that cannot even be listed here. It’s no wonder that we have a piece of music here that hasn’t been heard in this form for a long time.
Heavy doom-laden guitars that would make Monster Magnet green with envy. Stonebride are absolutely heavy and intoxicating at the same time. The songs are celebrated with a heavenly devotion, which is particularly highlighted in the quiet passages of the arrangements. The opener "Bending Roads" starts off relatively straightforward, but what follows is a masterpiece of arrangement and song structure. And I’ll spare myself from picking out individual tracks because there’s something new to discover in every song. A mix of heavy doom metal and trance-like stoner rock is presented on this silver disc.
And it simply has to be heard.
