There was once a label that discovered a lot of unknown punk bands, gave them a chance, wanted to build them up, and became more and more well-known through this and through good and enthusiastic work. This label, let’s call it People like You Records, did a lot of things right. By the end of its first life, you could buy the releases blindly; there was always good music in them. I had only known this status from Fat Wreck in the USA until then.

Everything could have continued so beautifully, but nothing is more constant than change, and so fundamental changes took place at the label. People like You Records reinvented itself in a way, reorganized, and shook itself three times. After this action, the ship was ready to set sail again and hoisted its sails hard into the wind.

To provide an overview after the stormy times of the scene and to show that with a completely renewed ship, one can once again navigate the Rock´n´Roll seas, there is a colorful album of the bands that have currently found their home at People like You Records. It is an album with 21 songs and a download code for the free download of ten additional songs. So, 31 songs at a bargain sampler price!

For those still in doubt, it should be noted that there are three previously unreleased songs on the CD, namely from THE METEORS, KRUM BUMS, and FACE TO FACE. That alone could justify the purchase!

In addition to the already mentioned bands, the CD features other well-known combos like ROGER MIRET AND THE DISASTERS, BUSTER SHUFFLE, THE ADICTS, DEADLINE, and MAD SIN.

This sampler guarantees the perfect soundtrack for the next party!

To say anything other than a purchase recommendation would be sacrilege!
