Since 2007, the band ALLTAGSDASEIN has been around. Founded by Chris, he quickly gathered two companions to complete the band he envisioned. With a lot of creativity and energy, they got started.
To date, they have played around 50 concerts, including some with DRITTE WAHL. For two years, that's not a bad number.
This year, the band released their first CD EP, titled “A New Wind,” which provides a good overview of the band's style with six tracks. The record was still recorded by drummer Anni, who then left her position in the summer. A new drummer, Sebastian, was found, ensuring that there is no downtime either live or in the rehearsal room.
The six songs are in German and offer solid pop-punk, as one would expect from a young band. The recordings are quite decent, although the vocals could be a bit stronger. The voice sometimes struggles against the other instruments. This should be improved in future recordings. Similarly, the flow of the songs, while generally okay, could benefit from more pressure. The melodies should be more pronounced in future recordings to give the music more impact and energy.
Overall, “A New Wind” is not bad for a debut work. What the band has achieved so far should give them courage for the coming years.
