RamTatTa - Demons – Ace in the Hole

It took 5 years for one of the pioneering bands from Sweden in the realm of kicking garage rock 'n' roll to release their new album, "ACE IN THE HOLE." We are talking about a band that was even covered by The Hellacopters. They are DEMONS. If the band doesn't ring a bell, it's best to take a closer look online. DEMONS were already around when garage wasn't yet a trend. The band had been active for a long time when THE HIVES were filling the halls of the world. They may not be the most famous in the genre, but they are one of the most influential bands. Who knows what would have happened without DEMONS?
The band took their time. 5 years is a long time. The wait was worth it. The band presents 12 songs on their album that come with a hefty dose of explosiveness. Here, snotty garage meets driving rock 'n' roll melodies, but also captivating power pop influences are clearly audible. It's all about the mix. Just like here. The songs are all catchy and make you forget the world around you. You want to dance, move, simply let loose. The DEMONS offer 12 really great songs that neither drift into the fiddly garage trash sound nor are too poppy. The band is a lot of fun. It's no wonder that The Hellacopters pay tribute to this band, and comparisons to the early The Hives are quite appropriate.
"Ace in the Hole" is a fantastic album, from start to finish!
