Although I’m not familiar with the metal scene, I’ll give this album a try. Things get really intense here, but damn, is this speed metal? Or thrash metal? Or are the boundaries fluid? I have no idea. The fact is that the fans can’t possibly headbang as fast as these three Bavarians are pounding away. ALL the instruments are moving at high speed, yet it remains melodic. Here’s a double bass attack and there’s a one-minute solo. Metal fans should enjoy this release. The vocals are rough and would also fit a hardcore band. There are 11 songs to blast through, including a bonus track in German. Definitely better than all that band competition or youth center festival metal crap that everyone here has probably had to endure at some point.
