Small Town Riot. They have this song called "Timmy." I thought the song was great, so why not buy an album from them? And why not listen to it beforehand? Because trust is good, but control is better! "Timmy" really took off (by the way, it's included as a bonus video clip on the album), but the songs here make me wonder whether I should rather dust or organize my paperwork. Lyrically, the 17 songs deal with the usual themes. Against work and pseudo-punks and for drinking beer and real punk spirit. The "Lovesong Trilogy" stands out thematically. Musically, melodic street punk is offered. It's definitely a great album for teenagers around 14 years old who have just discovered punk and have never heard of the Brassknuckle Boys or Voice of a Generation. Everyone else might find this album rather boring.
