The Detroit musician Stevie Banch is Spyder Baby and has recorded and programmed the present release "Let us prey" entirely on his own. The album consists of 14 songs that offer a mix of metal, gothic, punk, and industrial. While listening, one immediately notices similarities to bands like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, and Ministry. The latter is certainly true, as Al Jorgenson, the mastermind behind Ministry, was involved in the production. For fans of the aforementioned music, this is not a musical novelty, but overall, it is still a solid album.
