Captain Hook, that’s well-known in modern mythology – Disney & Co. The man with the hook on his arm. And such hooks keep sticking in my ear canals while listening to this CD. Be it with the grandiose opener "The Dandelion," the subsequent "Salieri," and the anthemic "if this song....." The music is a successful and convincingly presented mix of lower-tuned guitar rock with slight emo core influences and a well-seasoned dash of metal. Thankfully, they have reduced the genre-typical emo screaming to a bearable minimum for me and incorporated a few nice growls here and there.
