These four gentlemen from Austria are bringing their third official album (after 3 demos) to light, which will be available on May 18, 2007, through RUDE Rec. & NO REASON Rec. and BROKEN HEART. I received this gem from DYNAMIC DISCORD AGENCY Booking. RENTOKILL has something special right from the first minute. With a lot of energy, a powerful dose of pressure, and the necessary groove from the guitars, the music holds up very well. Socially and politically, it’s reminiscent of STRIKE ANYWHERE or has a slight touch of PROPAGANDHI. However, the songs here are more sing-along, despite the high pressure that constantly gets your head bobbing. The backing vocals fit well, and the singer really gives it his all! So, if you want to try melodic hardcore/punk rock with a message... Here you go! The band has been around since 1996, and on this record, you’ll find 15 songs, none of which are embarrassing, and I get the feeling I want to listen to them again! Very good songwriting and not a copy of some band we don’t want to hear! Bravo, and let’s go buy it!
