There was once an album called ORGANICA that saw the light of day in 2002. This album received good reviews, and Mr. DAVID CELIA is rightly labeled a good singer & songwriter for his first work. At that time, comparisons were made to Damian Rice and Jack Johnson. This album is now the second and features 12 hits that can be enjoyed at any hour. Mr. CELIA has taken a few more steps towards perfection, and what he has put together here in poppy folk-acoustic-rock is worthy of any CD shelf. Not only is the music good, but I am also impressed by the cardboard inlay! Like the first release, this will be distributed by RADAR and FINESTNOISE and will be available on March 3, 2007. Here and there, there are a few instrumental pieces that are simply but randomly stitched together. As soon as the drums kick in, I am reminded of the STEVE MILLER BAND era, which fits quite well. A wonderful thunderstorm would be what the Cologne guy would say, and a big shout-out to the man from Toronto. My conclusion: Buy!!
