This CD seems to be evidence that THE FINEST NOISE PROMOTION offers a wide range of music styles. CLAUDIUS RIETH, who originally hails from Lima, Peru, grew up in Germany, and eventually landed in Chile, is certainly not for punk rockers. The sound, which was produced solely by CLAUDIUS himself, is rather of a spiritual nature. The music is reminiscent of the LP "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" by PINK FLOYD, although PINK FLOYD was somewhat more creative. The fact that Mr. RIETH has processed the death of his father with this record makes it difficult to use harsh words, yet a sense of lethargy cannot be denied. One song hands the doorknob to the next in a rather monotonous manner. Recommended as an alternative to sleeping pills.
