RELAPSE Records is releasing this piece of extreme avant-garde metal at a very high level on September 25, 2006, and we are among the chosen ones who get to hear it beforehand! Heavy thunderstorms with hammering fat hooklines and riffs are on the agenda here, inviting the drummer to chop vigorously forward and encouraging the headbanger to go wild. He is hammering away with his double bass at lightning speed, pounding each piece into the desk with a brutality that drives me insane! These 5 guys come from New York, and the band was founded back in 1990, so you can imagine how hard this record hits! 11 tracks (including an intro) will bring tears of joy to the eyes of metal, hardcore, and grindcore lovers. Elaborate song compositions and glorious walls of guitars, occasionally reminiscent of SLAYER from both the left and right, delight my ears. A beautiful record that I can recommend and is definitely worth your money! I just can't listen to it too often, or I'll go on a rampage, as it makes you quite aggressive. Homepage
