Here’s something new from Nix Gut Records, which fits pretty much into the corner that Nix Gut is known for. When mail from NIX GUT arrives, I usually have to laugh and think, what kind of crap is coming this time? There was a time when this label made progress to establish a good name for itself. Today, I must sadly note that every D-Punk band gets a release if they just deliver good recordings. The scene itself must be maintained, but not at any cost! As for the music: German punk is emphasized here, and of course, topics like Hartz4, Nazis, and the system are tackled. The music is driven forward well, and each song is singable if you don’t pay much attention to the lyrics. I hear BETONTOD and a bit of DRITTE WAHL as comparisons, and somehow every song here sounds like the one before it. I can pick out the usual riffs and also the same lyrics that I used to shout along to at 18, just phrased differently. I must mention that these guys know how to play together musically, and the multi-part vocals fit quite well. This record features 18 tracks, and each individual song is listed in the text. This was created at the end of 2005, and this is now the second release. This kind of D-Punk is the reason why I no longer enjoy D-Punk and can hardly listen to it anymore, because the majority doesn’t think about creating something of their own! This record is okay for the young fan, but overall, it’s a good start to maybe pack some content into the next recording and excite me then. The fun ended with the 13th song when the track "Nazis are taking our jobs away" came on. Even I know now. No, kids... delicious fare that is enough for once!
