After the "Schießbefehl" LP and the "gossenhauer" EP, the Thuringians have delivered a new album with "Sturmfrei". Grenzer was founded in Jena in 2020, but if you enjoy this unpolished underground punk without frills, you can't go wrong here. The eleven new songs have significantly more pressure compared to their predecessor, while still retaining that gritty East Punk touch that I love so much. This is a damn diverse DtschPunk record with real 80s charm. Lyrically, they still don't hold back and sing about the everyday life somewhere between village pub and concrete block, often with a good dose of irony and sharp wit. I just received my copy fresh from Elb-Power-Records, and for the vinyl junkies among you, the LP is available there in various color editions with a lyric sheet and a double-sided poster for the wall.
