The most well-known active hardcore punk band from the USA in Europe is releasing their new album after eight years.
I thought they had nothing left to say, that they had grown old and were only playing here and there for a few old fans.
Far from it!
What the band from New York City has created here in less than 30 minutes is nothing less than a worthy successor to their last albums. I would even say they are angrier, more uncompromising, and filled with even more energy, which is no surprise given the current state of the world.
Songs like “People over Power,” “Empire Falls,” “Ashes of War,” or “Wake Up, Kill, Repeat” already indicate in their titles where the journey is headed.
Uncompromising hardcore punk with clear messages. This is how punk should be.
There’s not much more to say.

THE CASUALTIES should be known to every punk.
THE CASUALTIES are touring at several festivals this year, and I can recommend everyone to go there. It’s worth it!
This epochal, timeless work will also be released in physical form on July 10, 2026.
