LOADED from Mannheim have also turned 30 by now.
It's crazy how time flies.
The trio is treating themselves and their fans to a new 7" single.
The band, often categorized as Ska-Punk, presents a different musical side on their 7", featuring one song on the A-side and one on the B-side.
The songs are definitely rooted in punk rock, yet both have almost nothing to do with the Ska genre.
The 7" is titled “Midnight Miles“.
The song on the A-side is called “Spittin´Off the Bridge“. This track is presented not only with a very atmospheric and fitting video to the world audience but also works perfectly well without the video.

The song rocks and practically drips with old-school street punk vibe and attitude. Nick Rothstein, the singer and bassist of LOADED, wrote this piece. It sounds so laid-back and cool, and not forced at all. More like he churns out such songs daily.
“Spittin´Off the Bridge“ is already a classic today.
The second song on the B-side of the 7" is called “Get on the Streets“. I hardly need to explain what that means. The song takes exactly two minutes and one second to say everything it needs to. Driving punk rock, definitely danceable and certainly suitable for pogoing.

Whether it's due to age, television, smartphones, or good old laziness. If we all just sit at home alone, we'll never be able to make a move or meet and get to know each other. Real life, folks!

With “Midnight Miles“, LOADED brings a nice gift to the table (Tomorrow is Christmas, so I can make such a comment) and shows that they are among the bands that only get better with age.
Especially “Spittin´Off the Bridge“ has the potential to become a classic.
