From an acoustic trio to one of the most successful German rock bands. From an idea, hard work, unwavering belief to multiple Top 10 and four No. 1 albums. To sold-out tours, shaking castles, and the most loyal fans around the world. In Extremo love to stand on stages around the world and announced a new tour for Winter 23, which is now postponed.
The band has a message for their fans:
Dear friends,
what an incredible festival and concert summer this has been so far, and we are only halfway through! At this point, a big thank you to YOU and all those who make this possible together. It is and remains a great celebration!
As you may have already noticed - and could also hear with “Weckt die Toten” - we are currently spending a lot of time in the studio and enjoying the time, the process, and everything that comes with it. Above all, we believe that a milestone is currently being created for us, and hopefully something special for you as well. And because we genuinely want this to happen accordingly, we want to give the process the time it needs.
Our plan was to surprise you with a new album before the upcoming tour in Winter 2023, so we could joyfully and blissfully rock around the Christmas holidays together. However, since certain things sometimes just take the time they need, we want to postpone the upcoming winter tour to next year, not least to do justice to you and everything that comes with it.
Tickets will, of course, remain valid for the new dates or can be returned to the respective advance booking offices if necessary. We hope for your understanding and continue to write our next chapter together - a unique In Extremo album!
