In this first world rating and performance society, we are confronted with pressure, expectations, external successes, fears of luxury, inequalities, and false values. This leads to people having distorted thoughts, false perceptions, and not recognizing or no longer recognizing societal and humanitarian values. Fears and negative emotions make us sick. We cannot completely escape society and be entirely self-determined; however, we can control our thoughts and recognize that we are independent beings who belong to no one but ourselves. No external power forces us and says, you MUST do what we have chosen for ourselves. We live in privileged realms where, for example, we are not executed for punk rock, and we are largely free to think and express ourselves. If you always keep death in mind, you will live life in this first world society with gratitude.
