Fiddler’s Green are releasing their Christmas album “Seven Holy Nights” this week. It features not only classics like “White Christmas” and “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer,” but also original songs such as the title track. A brand new lyric video for “Seven Holy Nights” has just been released, which can be seen here:

The new songs can also be experienced live at some selected shows in December; you can find the exact dates below.
The aroma of the Christmas goose sizzling in the oven wafts invitingly and heavily through the house. Outside, snowflakes dance and transform nature into a winter wonderland. The contents of the cookie plate have long since landed in one’s own stomach, causing a leaden fullness… The best thing to do in this situation is either to head to the nearest Irish pub to harmonize belly and brain with plenty of stout and whiskey – or to put on the new Fiddler’s Green album and embark on an acoustic journey to the cozy, rugged Christmas of Ireland.
“Seven Holy Nights” features nearly all the classics of English-speaking Christmas songs. From “White Christmas” to “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer” to “12 Days Of Christmas,” a whiskey-infused Christmas atmosphere is guaranteed! Songs like “Danny Boy” and “Mull Of Kintyre” fit perfectly into the musical mulled wine escape.
That Fiddler’s Green is also quite capable of writing Christmas songs with classic qualities is demonstrated by “7 Holy Nights,” the title track of their own creation. With a wink, it describes the very extravagant Christmas celebration at Fiddler’s Green – or so one might think.
For those who prefer to spend their Christmas Eve in a pub rather than with Aunt Erna or Uncle Willi under the eternally outdated Christmas tree, this masterpiece is an absolute must!
