The four-member Australian rock band The Faim has just announced their second album “Talk Talk”, which will be released on July 8 via BMG. The album follows their debut “State Of Mind”, released in 2019, which Live Nation's Ones to Watch called "the first chapter in the great story of one of the biggest bands in alternative rock".
The new album was produced by Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Matthew Pauling (Palaye Royale, 5 Seconds of Summer, State Champs).
‘The Alchemist' is about that one person who unexpectedly enters your life and changes everything for the better," says bassist and keyboardist Stephen Beerkens. "They are the one who catches you when you are down and sees the good in you, even when you don’t see it in yourself."
For the recordings between Los Angeles and Perth, The Faim collaborated with various producers, including Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Yungblud, Machine Gun Kelly), Erik Ron (Panic! At the Disco, Godsmack, Set It Off), and Matthew Pauling (Palaye Royale, 5 Seconds of Summer, State Champs), to showcase the wide range of styles and sounds that The Faim has to offer.
Typically, The Faim is known for touring nonstop and playing hundreds of concerts. They are looking forward to finally playing live again after the pandemic lull. As part of their headliner club tour, they will connect with fans while bringing new songs, traveling through the UK and the EU this summer, where they will perform at major festivals including Rock am Ring, Download Festival, Rock in Werchter, La Nuit De l'Erdre, and Musilac.
