The new EP INSERT COIN is the kick-off of the trilogy following LOCKTOWN and TALCO MASKERADE. It connects both worlds (the acoustic and electric) through the image of the freak and weaves them artfully together. The freak can be found on
the artwork of the new EP, and a whole song is dedicated to it on the LOCKTOWN release.
Five chapters show the journey and development of the freak, understood as the persona of the artist and the creative force of the artist, which rubs against society and its conventions. Pushed out of his own comfort zone, where he feels simultaneously trapped, he finds himself in a metaphorical world full of blunt repetitions that build on emptied protagonists. This circularity empties his art as a means to the end of blunt entertainment. In parallel, it addresses the concept of eroded freedom in the tension between conspiracy theorists on one hand and people who question nothing on the other, and discusses the current development of social discourse and how ideas and ideologies evolve. Finally, a small excursion through Italian history is undertaken, where the constant repetition
and rebirth of neofascist movements against the backdrop of the lack of perception of leftist counter-movements obscures the danger that allows society to thrive under the guise of populism, hatred, and division.
