Where there is light, there is also shadow." This well-known saying represents the band not only in instrumental terms but also in its lyrics. Singer Jannes-Maximilian Priebels expresses himself as follows:
"The idea for 'Rausch' came to me when I first heard the instrumental. The atmospheric guitar sound and the dreamy harmonies awakened memories of various experiences and the associated feelings of past and long nights."
A typical categorization of the sound is difficult. The musicians' influences draw from shoegaze, indie, alternative, dream-pop, and grunge, as indicated by the flat vocals, effect-laden guitars, or the bass driven by the chorus. From all these different sources of inspiration emerges a novel and innovative soundscape that is unparalleled: Thrumming sound carpets follow playful riffs, catchy choruses meet complex harmonies, and receive fitting support in dreamy vocals and danceable beats.
