After the huge surprise success of "Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt" by Danger Dan, the "Best New Music Business" (VUT Indie Awards 2021) Antilopen Geldwäsche will release the first label compilation "Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1" on December 24, 2021. With "Sí claro," Panik Panzer and Fatoni are releasing the first single along with a music video from the sampler today.
Die Antilopen Gang has now fully established itself. After the freshly launched, band-owned record label Antilopen Geldwäsche celebrated one of the biggest surprise successes of the year with Danger Dan's number 1 album "Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt" – and subsequently drunken with power won the VUT Indie Award for "Best New Music Business" – just a few months later, in good old HipHop tradition, the first label compilation is on the way: "Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1". Just in time for Christmas Eve, this full-fledged album with new, exclusive material from the gang, its individual members, and some high-profile guests will be released. Die Antilopen Gang has reached its preliminary peak; this is not just a new chapter being opened, but the damn library is being taken over.
After seven years with JKP, during which the gang learned what it means to be a professional band, the time is ripe for something new. However, something new that is simultaneously well-known and can ultimately be understood as a Back To The Roots at an advanced level: Doing everything themselves. Complete independence. Realizing every silly idea without having to coordinate with anyone. Antilopen Geldwäsche! In the history of Die Antilopen Gang, having their own label is a completely logical development. In doing so, the gang is doing the same thing that Die Toten Hosen did back in the day with JKP. There is no question that the always friendly Düsseldorfers can not only understand this step but also wholeheartedly support it: "Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1" concludes with an unreleased live recording from Die Toten Hosen.
Speaking of guests: While Die Antilopen Gang has traditionally held back on features in their studio albums, they are now fully unleashing themselves on the "Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1" and presenting numerous remarkable collaborations. Whether it's Max Herre, Zugezogen Maskulin, Maeckes from the Orsons, Fatoni, Bobby Fletcher, or even the well-known cheerful personalities from the Schlager world: They all make a brief appearance, leave a lasting impression, and open up entirely new possibilities for the gang. Not least, the surprising guest list elevates this sampler disguised as an Antilopen album to what must be called a timeless HipHop classic that no one expected.

And Die Antilopen Gang themselves? They play here completely liberated. A handful of fresh, irresistible Antilopen songs form the foundation of "Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1". The gang has always reached its peak when it simply did things. And here they have simply done it.
It literally jumps out at you: All the facets that have always been inherent in Die Antilopen Gang come fully to the fore on "Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1" for the first time. Apparently, it took this label and this sampler to reveal an almost absurd versatility that still unmistakably bears the signature of Die Antilopen and is thus not found even remotely in any other HipHop band in the world. Because no one can do what the gang can. Rap, punk, piano, singing, politics, pathos, humor, Ballermann. And always this relevance.
"Antilopen Geldwäsche Sampler 1" will be released on December 24, 2021.
