After the acclaimed album "Einzimmervilla" (2017) and the collaboration with Herbert Grönemeyer ("Doppelherz/Iki Gönlüm") including tour support (2018 and 2019), the Kreuzberg musician BRKN will release his new album "Drama" on April 23, 2021. The new work represents a break from the previously positive vibe characterized creations of the Berliner with Kurdish roots: "Drama" tells of a breakup, pain, and depression.
For about two years, BRKN has been working with various producers such as Jumpa, Miksu, and the Beatgees on his new album "Drama", which is completely different from everything BRKN has released before. Dark. Painful. Honest. A breakup album. A love album without love songs. A sad album that is still fun. An album that will be released on 23.04.2021.
Andac Berkan Akbıyık was born in 1991 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. He learns piano and saxophone, starts rapping at the age of 12, and teaches himself to play the guitar as a self-taught musician. In 2016, he releases his first solo album "Kauft meine Liebe" and supports Alligatoah in the opening act on the "Akkordarbeit" acoustic tour and the "Himmelfahrtskommando" tour.

With his album "Einzimmervilla", released in 2017, he tours sold-out venues in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The single "Bordeaux" is released as a COLORS session and quietly develops into a real hit. In spring 2019, BRKN can perform on the biggest stages in the country as the opening act for Herbert Grönemeyer and additionally perform the joint song "Doppelherz/Iki Gönlüm". Since June 2016, he has been producing the live show "BRKN, Dicker!", which he brings to the stage of the Columbia Theater in Berlin and makes available to the rest of the world via YouTube. "BRKN, Dicker!" is a full-length entertainment show with guests like Sido, Marteria, Trettmann, and Oliver Polak. A format between late-night talk, concert, and pub conversation that will return in a new form starting in 2021.
The new album "Drama" by BRKN tells of the breakup from a first love. Of pain and depression. But also always of the hope of finding a way out. "Drama" will be released on April 23, 2021
