There has been some confusion surrounding the Back to the Boots Festival in recent days. Initially, tensions rose over the band Emscherkurve 77, which was rumored to have connections to the far-right scene. After their public distancing from right-wing ideology, the main act Stomper 98 was accused of having performed with right-leaning bands on several occasions. The Antifa threatened the organizer with massive disruptions if the festival were to take place. The Musa in Göttingen subsequently withdrew its confirmation as a venue, which led to the entire event being at risk due to the lack of suitable spaces. A new venue was urgently sought and has now been found. The approximately 120 km distant Bierroiber in 06567 Bad Frankenhausen still offers space for about 300 visitors to celebrate the Back to the Boots. Tickets may be scarce at the box office, so it is better to reserve them in advance at sebi@stomper98.de. The day before, on December 8, the Reggae got Soul Allnighter will take place at the Steinhaus Göttingen, where the warm-up celebration will already begin.
