For 70 years, Lucky Luke, along with his horse Jolly Jumper and the not particularly vigilant watchdog Rantanplan, has been ensuring law and order in the Wild West.
Just in time for the start of the Lucky Luke anniversary year, a brand new album titled Lucky Luke Band 94: "Martha Pfahl" is being released, in which our Western hero reminisces about his adventures as Lucky Kid. The illustrator Achdé once again manages to make us chuckle faster with the stories of the "lonesome cowboy"'s formative years than Lucky Kid can draw back his slingshot! With a wink and in the best Morris style, Achdé tells wonderfully quirky Wild West short stories and several one-pagers from the cowboy's eventful childhood in this album.
