In September 2004, Hammerhead disbanded (see Hammerhead have disbanded). Now there is supposed to be one last output in the form of a DVD titled "Die!", which recounts the band's history from the first rehearsal recordings in 1990 to the farewell tour in 2004 in sound and image. In addition to excerpts from various live performances and a backstage report from the Germany tour in 1999, there are also current interviews and eyewitness accounts. Among them are Johnny Botropp from the Terrorgruppe and Moses Arndt, publisher of the ZAP fanzine. On the homepage http://www.hammerhead.de, a preview trailer is already available.
Currently, they are still collecting material and therefore ask anyone who possesses film footage or other rarities of the band to contact nbert@hammerhead.de. You can also pre-register without obligation at this email address if you want to be immediately informed about the DVD's release date. As things stand, this will be sometime in the summer. The cinema premiere is already planned for September 1, where it will kick off at 21:30 at the Filmbühne Bonn-Beuel, followed by the premiere party.
