"Pink Print" is the second clip that Antillectual shot with young Dutch filmmaker Ivo van Aart. The song addresses the discrepancy between beautiful Sunday speeches and reality: Women are still very often not treated as equals - both by "society in general" and within our small punk and HC scene. With the aim of demanding and promoting equality between women and men, the band had the thought of what it would be like if they were to get their asses kicked by a few strong women...? Mission accomplished!
The song comes from Antillectual's fourth album "Perspectives & Objectives" (2013), marking another step for the band towards seriousness and heavyweight lyrical statements, with clear messages about discrimination, flight and deportation, freedom of speech, control, and human rights. The group has now become a staple in the European punk / HC / D.I.Y. scene, with roots in the melodic skate punk of the 90s, but especially their excursions into modern orgcore, emo, and even metal sounds make them distinctive. The band themselves are laconic: "We manage to create our own unique blend of stolen riffs and borrowed songs"
