In the Kulturwerkstatt in Füssen, there will be some serious rocking on Saturday, December 20th, starting at 8 PM. The guys from Bloated Goat invite all punk rock fans to a special kind of Christmas party. They will be loudly supported by their colleagues from Banana Peel Buzz, Mumüzumundi, and Syphillistz. The name of the band Banana Peel Buzz, Michael Front (vocals), Jeff Aug (guitar, vocals), Chris Lakriz (bass, vocals), Kurti Münch (drums, vocals), has been circulating in the Allgäu scene for some time now, and for good reason. Musically, the combo skillfully navigates between old school punk like Misfits, Bad Brains and new school punk rock in the style of Green Day, Blink 182.
Banana Peel Buzz recently recorded a CD with five songs. The silver disc is simply titled "Banana Peel Buzz" and will be presented to the public in a few weeks. The five musicians from Mumüzumundi from Schongau are just as crazy as their band name suggests. They will heat up the audience with punk rock 'n' roll from their first album "Sexy Songs & Dirty Beats". The local heroes of the evening are Bloated Goat. The band consists of Christoph "Bobo" Redelbach (vocals), Pete Kohnert (guitar), David Schöffel (drums), Andi Helmer (bass). They have been active in this lineup for three years, performing at many venues such as the Munich "Backstage", the "Szene-Star-Wettbewerb" of the Allgäuer Zeitung, as well as concerts with bands like Satanic Surfers on stage.
